Condemning the move by the US president, the statement adds “announcing al-Quds as the Israeli capital is a new sedition that indicates the Islam enemies’ hatred towards Muslims.”
“In addition to the blatant violation of international resolutions, this new conspiracy represents the White House and the fake Israeli regime’s intentions to put the region in more turmoil after the defeat of the Takfirist group of ISIL in Syria and Iraq,” the statement said.
“With this foolish action, the Great Satan, is trying to save cancerous tumor ‘Israel’, but, in fact, it has taken a major step towards the cpllaps of the Zionist regime and it serves the Palestinian cause,” the Assembly of Experts said.
While emphasizing the fact that Quds will remain Islamic and “the cancerous tumor ‘Israel’ can only be annihilated through intifada and popular uprisings,” the statement concluded that “we call on the international organizations, heads of Islamic countries and all awake consciences to play an active role in the condemnation of this malicious act of the American president.”
